When booking flights to Peru from either Europe or the United States, you will find that all of them, barring some rare outsiders, will arrive in Lima. The Lima Jorge Chávez International airport is the largest airport in Peru, and even if you are arriving on Peru flights destined for Cusco, you will likely still land in Lima first. Thus, it is a good idea to prepare for at least a night’s lodging at one of the Lima hotels as you will likely catch your connecting flight to Cusco the next morning.
